Hatha Yoga - Level I (Moderate)

A balanced class where beginners can learn and improve their practice and experienced students can deepen their

practice with guided verbal instruction and relaxation between postures. This class promotes rejuvenation as well as relaxation.

 

Vinyasa Flow (Challenging)

Additional strength and flexibility is required to attain more challenging postures. These postures are linked in rapid

succession with the breath. Balancing poses are linked together in succession challenging the individual

to a higher level. Headstands, handstands and other inversions are practiced in this challenging class. Prior yoga

experience is required for this class.

Boot Camp Yoga ( Very Challenging but do not fear it dominate it!)

Work your buns off literally. The best class to take for toning and weight loss. Cardio workout invovled. Not for the pregnant and injured clients!

Dance

 

  • Belly Dancing (Monday Nights) 5:30-6:30 pm Shake those hips and tone them up while engaging that core and having fun!
  • Zumba Monday's 8-9 pm Dance like nobosy is watching! Have fun and Dance your booty off without realizing that it is a workout!
  • Body Sculpt Pilates: Pilates for Dancer's. Get your Peak Physique through sculpting of thighs hips abs and arms! Lean mean machine!
  • SNY Ballet Barre Workout: Aretuza Caldas professional ballerina has created hr own masterpiece of a workout that shadows all others in terms of creating poise strength and balance!

 

 

Gentle Yoga (Beginner and all levels)

 

  • This class offers practitioners some tools to reduce stress, improve health, and maximize energy by stimulating the
  • body's natural relaxation response. Proven techniques such as deep breathing, visualization, progressive muscle
  • relaxation, guided meditation and yoga postures are incorporated in this one hour journey to relaxation. When
  • practiced regularly, this class leads to a reduction in everyday stress levels and a boost in feelings of joy, serenity and well-being.
  • Gentle and great for any age any shape any level

Yin Yoga

  • Very Restorative almost 70% of class is on the mat. Going deep into asanas holding them a longer period of time allowing one to focus on the breath and stretching the muscle and connective tissue at the fascia level creating flexibilty relaxation and meditattion through very slow reflective Yoga poses. Ahhhhh we do this on Friday nights! TGIF! Enjoy!

Martial Arts

  • Tai Chi: Very slow purpose full movement enhancing your eneergy levels while creating a deeply focused reflective state. Great for stress
  • Chinese Martial Arts: Creat Self Confidence Inner Healing through focused sharpened Mind quick reflexes and agil bod
  • Capoeira: Purely Brazilian form of Martial Arts combined with Dance. The best fusion ever! In short, Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines  dance, music, and acrobatics. It teaches discipline, self-defense, physical fitness, and promotes self-esteem.  It is considered one of the top all-around strength, flexibility, and aerobic exercises and training is geared toward all ages and athletic levels.
